An independent older couple, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a dedicated full-time, live-out Cook/Housekeeper. Responsibilities include: preparing simple, healthy, and flavorful lunches and dinners five days per week, with a strong emphasis on high-quality ingredients and adherence to gluten-free and other dietary considerations. The Cook/Housekeeper will also handle general housekeeping duties, including laundry, and maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organized home environment. Additional responsibilities include running local errands such as grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, and additional household-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting elderly individuals in a private home and will bring a warm, cheerful, and positive demeanor while maintaining a respectful understanding of the couple’s preference for privacy and a quiet household. This role is ideal for a thoughtful and proactive professional who can provide excellent household support while working collaboratively alongside a small team that includes home health aides and the family’s personal assistant.   Schedule is Monday to Friday, typically 11am – 7pm with a focus on lunch and dinner preparation. Salary range: $40–$50/hour, commensurate with experience. Immediate start.
