A growing family of three, based between homes in the Bahamas and Colorado (with extensive travel), need to hire a full-time live-in Nanny to assist them on a temporary to permanent basis with their young toddler. Responsibilities include: engaging the child in developmentally appropriate games and activities, monitoring milestones, preparing snacks and meals for the child, and handling light child-related housekeeping & laundry duties. Must be ok working in a home with dogs and assisting with some light pet care. The Nanny must be well versed in early childhood education (ideally with hands on education experience or related degree), had a childcare philosophy that aligns similarly with Montessori or Reggio Emilia, have a valid U.S. passport, speak fluent English (though multilingual would also be great!), know how to swim, be fully vaccinated, and have a driver’s license. The right fit will have a calm, nurturing, and loving approach to their care. The family is planning to spend the majority of the year in the Bahamas, with 2-3+ months in the U.S. (typically summers) with extensive travel. Typically schedule (about 80% of the year) is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, usually 12-8pm on Friday with some need for late nights, weekend and/ or overnight coverage. Salary range: $45/hr. base, plus overtime and double time. The family provides separate staff housing (with private bedroom), as well as a dedicated nanny car, with lovely additional benefits such as a round-trip ticket home, insurance and phone plan contribution and generous PTO and sick days.  Family would likely want to onboard someone in August or September 2026. This role is a three-month commitment with the likelihood of extending to a yearly contract, should both nanny and family feel it is the right fit.
